Longtime DJ, vinyl enthusiast and musician Daddy Pales collaborates with DJ Nikolucky, the mastermind behind the festival’s music curation, for a truly exceptional joint session on Friday afternoon. Together, they embark on a profound exploration of vinyl releases from decades past, guided by the musical enchantments of acid jazz, lounge, downtempo, trip hop, ethnic fusion, and balearic. Anticipate expansive beats, ethereal rhythms, profound emotions, and tranquil melodies: an immersive experience that resonates deeply within your mind, body, and soul with captivating compositions. The duo has been planning this for a couple of years now, and the encounter amidst the vinyls is bound to be one of the highlights of the festival weekend for the audience.
DJ Daddy Pales & DJ Nikolucky will play back to back vinyl session at the festival on Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM.
The festival's long-standing resident DJ Nikolucky plays atmospheric music from around the world on Friday and Saturday: few styles and directions for selections are African rhythms, tropical Caribbean, all things Latin America, loungy Balearic downtempo and Asian fusion melodies. Sound which is guaranteed to bring out all the aromas from coffee, tea, kombucha, ice cream and chocolate experiences enjoyed at the Cable Factory!
DJ Nikolucky will spin vinyls at the festival on Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM and 6 PM to 7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM and 6 PM to 7 PM.
Miia Laine is a DJ raised in Berlin and educated in London whose high-quality music selection, familiar from Radio Helsinki's "Kaiken maailman kappaleita" program, will delight festival goers during Sunday morning and midday. Musical styles will include salsa, forro and highlife genres, among others.

Wanna talk about grooves, wanna talk about feelings, wanna talk about funky stuff? Let us introduce to you Jeremias Delgado alias DJ Kenno who serves you fine tunes with tropical, afro, Latin and Arabic spicy flavors during the festival’s Sunday afternoon. Mr. Delgado is also one the main villains in a concept called Wibes Festival. If you're into rhythm and culture, you sure need to check him out!

Magic Sam is a vibrant and experienced professional DJ who has been playing fantastic music for decades. His uplifting energy is evident in the wide range of rhythm music and tropical sounds in his sets. During the Saturday afternoon of the event, the audience is sure to enjoy themselves in the warm atmosphere as Magic Sam plays music from various parts of Latin America, infused with a funky twist. Sami Mannerheimo is also known as the founder and chairman of the Funky Elephant Festival and the event-producing association Funky Amigos ry.

Rischer has developed beanless coffee at the VTT laboratory in Otaniemi, Espoo. The research group has been working for the past few years to bypass the coffee bush and especially its fruit in coffee production.
Dr. Heiko Rischer is a Research Team Leader for Plant Biotechnology at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. and an Adjunct Professor in Pharmaceutical Biology at the University of Helsinki. His current research focus is on the development of plant cell cultures for sustainable food production (Cellular Agriculture).
How does the future of food look like? Researcher Kaisu Riihinen will share her insights on transforming the food system with innovative solutions at VTT on event's professional day Friday April 19.

Laura is responsible of coffee training at Paulig PRO, she mainly trains customers in food service. Laura is a barista and coffee-enthusiast who loves sharing her knowledge about coffee for others.
Food journalist Mariaana Nelimarkka is known as a beer and cider expert. Mariaana is one of the judges in chocolate and ice cream of the year.
Matias is a coffee professional who has worked in the customer service and specialty coffee industry for over ten years. Currently, he runs a company in the coffee event industry (Viva La Coffee - barista aid and events) and works as Procoffee's head barista.
Matias is one of the judges of filter coffee, decaf coffee and kombucha of the year competition.
Niko has more than 20 years of experience in the field of home technology and he has worked closely with high-quality coffee equipment for more than 8 years. In his own choices, Niko invests in quality, durability and aesthetics, regardless of the product or service. The desire for adventure, the desire to try new things and see new places make Niko also a curious experimenter when it comes to coffee, and there is rarely more than one bag of the same beans in his cupboard.
Niko will share tips (in Finnish) on how to make better coffee at home on Friday 19.4. at 5PM, Saturday 20.4. and on Sunday 21.4. at 1:00 PM.
Food journalist Sanna is a passionate foodie who eats for work. Sanna has worked as a food journalist for 20 years, written 6 cookbooks and was selected as the lifestyle journalist of the year in 2019. Sanna is one of the judges of chocolates of the year.
Master chef Sasu Laukkonen believes in better choices in ingredients and always invests in top quality and experience. He lives and breathes new ideas - which was one of the reasons for renewing the Michelin-starred Chef & Sommelier restaurant. Dynamite in and everything new from the scratch, thought Sasu. His restaurant Ora opened in the summer of 2017 on Huvilakatu in Helsinki and was awarded a Michelin star right from the beginning. Sasu is one of the judges of the chocolate and kombucha of the year.
